Navigating potlucks, parties, and gatherings while sticking to your macros can feel like a challenge—but it doesn’t have to be! With a little preparation and the right recipes, you can show up to any event ready to enjoy delicious food without derailing your goals. In this post, I’m sharing my go-to macro-friendly recipes that are perfect for potlucks and parties. These dishes are crowd-pleasers, easy to track, and packed with flavor, so you can stay on track and still indulge in the fun. My Biggest Potluck Strategy

If you’re wanting to hit your macros at gatherings bring a dish that you know will fit easily into your macros, then bank a few extra carbs and fats for the event so that you can pick a treat you’re eyeing. If nothing seems worth it, you’ll still have those macros when you get home! I never bring a food scale to events, I practice Visual Estimations. For times you can’t weigh or measure, practice eyeballing portion sizes using your hand as a guide (e.g., palm for protein, fist for carbs). If you’re wanting to indulge and still track macros while out KEEP IT SIMPLE: Stick to eating easy-to-track meals at events with fewer ingredients. Think protein, veggie, and carb combos.
