Omg made these today. I cannot wait to eat them. Since I love sweet potatoes and peppers. I made 5 for the week. I know they will be delicious
Excited to try these!
Just checking on the macros on My Fitness Pal. Sausage Breakfast Bowls are listed P37 C37 F11.
Hi Sophia! Sorry about the late response, this comment got buried somehow. MFP is correct, it’s 37g protein! I just updated the recipe here. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
All her bowls are so good and easy to make. It’s nice to have something to grab when in a hurry that’s good for you.
Great sweet and savory meal!
I am a teacher and always on the move during the day. I am constantly looking for easy meal preps for lunch throughout the week. I love this one. It is so tasty, easy to prep, loaded with protein and good carbs! I can’t wait to try another recipe!!
Thank you 😊
Made these bowls this week for breakfast. Really good way to use up some previously cooked fajita vegetables and also great on the macros.
So at the end of the directions, it says add a freshly cooked egg. is this egg included in the macros given? I can’t figure out how if the total fat is 11 grams and each egg alone has 5 grams of fat. the turkey breakfast sausage i see at the store has 10 g of fat per 2.5 ounces.
So Sorry! We fixed that! I copy pasted the instructions from my sweet potato breakfast bowls (which are topped with a fresh egg) and forgot to delete that part.
Omgosh!!! These are amazing, the sweet potato makes it so delicious. Thank you!!
Can you freeze this? I would make it in the 9×13 pan and freeze individual squares.
I don’t see why not. We used to freeze breakfast casserole all the time with great success. Just make sure to let it cool completely before wrapping the pieces up.
