Whether you’re looking for a great party dip or just want to add some deliciousness to your meals, Grandma’s Guacamole won’t let you down! It’s so easy to make. You’ll never buy store bought guacamole again!
I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ll go ahead and say it again… I like to think of my mom as the Latina version of Martha Stewart. Thanksgiving dinners weren’t her thing, but give the woman some carne asada, a few tomatoes, onion, and jalapeños and she whips up a dish that everybody loves. We had more than a few taco bars growing up. Now anytime I throw a baby shower, a birthday dinner, or have to feed the masses, I too resort to the taco bar. And no taco bar would be complete without Grandma’s Guacamole.

I begin by chopping up half an onion, 1 tomato, and half of a jalapeño in the food processor. Next, I take a fork and mash up one avocado into the pico mixture. I chop up a handful of cilantro and add it in. Finally, I add about a teaspoon of fresh lime juice, salt to taste, and enjoy! You can find the printable recipe at the bottom.
Quick Tip: Leave in the pit until you’re ready to serve. It should help it last longer.
