I’m taking one for the team tonight and staying up way past my bedtime to get this macro friendly bruschetta recipe up for you guys. I hope you consider making it Sunday for the big game! There really isn’t anything worse than showing up to America’s favorite party on a health kick. You don’t want to be the weirdo eating nothing, but you don’t want to splurge on foods that just don’t seem worth it to you. I have a great idea…take a healthy dish to share with everyone! It’s a win win!
I have always been a fan of bruschetta, but I honestly hadn’t made it in a really long time before now. I saw these tomatoes at Smith’s and the thought occurred to me that this would be a great and reasonable snack to have. I gathered up a few other ingredients, grabbed a fresh baguette, and went for it. It turned out awesome and I ate the whole jar of bruschetta myself within 2 days. No shame guys, it’s super macro friendly and great on just about anything!
I’m not super fancy and didn’t grill my bread or anything, but you easily could. I sliced my baguette nice and thin and topped each one with 1 tablespoon of the bruschetta. It’s so good you guys! Each thin sliced serving is only 7.3C/.9F/1.3P! I easily fit 4 pieces into my macros no problem.
