10 Minute At Home Workout!

Need an {AT HOME} workout that’s under 10 minutes?  Look no further!

Weekly Workout:

  • 10 Minute EMOM [Every Minute on the Minute], 5 Perfect Push ups, 25 Double Unders [or 25 single jumps].

Equipment needed:

  • Jump Rope
  • Box or something to elevate your body if you need to modify the push ups.
  • Timer (We frequently use the MYWOD app and recommend it to our readers.  You can keep track of your workouts, they’ve got How To videos, and of course the app has great timers.  For this workout we clicked the “more” icon in the bottom of the app, clicked Timers.  Once you are in Timers, click Interval, options (in the upper left corner of the app), Set up, and loop intervals must be turned on.   The App should automatically set to run a 1 minute interval.

A great workout I can do at home!

Modification Options:  Be sure to modify this workout to your ability level.  You should be between 15-30 seconds of rest each round, so lower the amount of push ups or jump ropes accordingly.  You can also add push ups or jump ropes if you’re flying through the workout!

  • 3 PERFECT Push Ups, 25 Double Unders
  • 3 PERFECT Push Ups {to a box}, 25 Single jumps

Today’s weekly workout is a 10 minute EMOM.  EMOM stands for Every Minute on the Minute.  At the top of every minute you are going to complete 5 PERFECT push ups and 25 double unders {or 25 single skips}.  Check out The Perfect Push Up {5 practical Tips} post to help you through this workout!  With the remaining time in the minute, you will rest.  If the 1 minute interval timer runs out before you complete the 5 push ups and 25 jumps, we recommend that you reduce the repetitions, so that you are giving yourself a little time to rest before the next minute interval begins.  See the modification options that are listed above.
