This Protein Cheesecake for One is my protein-packed spin on the viral Japanese cheesecake that’s been all over social media lately. I’ve been making it on repeat and have to give it a permanent spot here on the blog. It’s creamy, lightly sweet, and perfectly portioned for one serving. The flavor comes from your protein powder—so whether you’re craving strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, or cookies & cream, this recipe works with whatever you have on hand.

Flavor Variations

This recipe is super customizable — here are some fun ways to switch it up:

  • Strawberry Jam: Swirl in a tablespoon of strawberry jam if you don’t have any fresh strawberries.
  • Classic Cheesecake: Use vanilla and stir in a little bit of cream cheese
  • Chocolate Strawberry: Use chocolate or strawberry cheesecake protein and add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or cocoa powder
  • Blueberry Cheesecake: Use vanilla protein and mix in some blueberries or blueberry jam
  • Lemon Cheesecake: Use vanilla protein and add a splash of lemon juice + zest
  • Cookies & Cream: Use cookies & cream protein and top with crushed Oreos
  • Key Lime Pie: Use the Clean Simple Eats Key Lime Pie protein flavor.

Swap the Biscoff to mix things up with:

  • Graham crackers
  • Oreos
  • Vanilla Wafers

This recipe works best with Clean Simple Eats Whey Protein because it blends exceptionally smoothly into Greek yogurt and sets up thick and creamy as it chills. It gives this no-bake cheesecake bowl a true cheesecake-like texture—rich, smooth, and never chalky or gritty.

The Strawberry Cheesecake flavor is especially perfect here, but any flavor from their lineup works beautifully in this recipe. Some of their flavors that would be really good: Key Lime Pie, Vanilla, Cinnamon Bun, or Chocolate Brownie.

How It Works

As the bowl chills, the Greek yogurt and protein thicken while the cookies absorb moisture and soften. After a few hours in the fridge, the texture becomes thick, creamy, and cheesecake-like—no baking required.

Texture Tips

  • If it gets too thick, stir in 1–2 teaspoons of milk

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain non fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fat free milk
  • 1 scoop Clean Simple Eats Whey Protein, any flavor
  • 4 Biscoff cookies

Instructions

  • Add the Greek yogurt and fat-free milk to a small bowl and stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the protein powder and mix well until fully combined and no lumps remain. Optional: Stir in any fruit you’d like (I used sliced strawberries).
  • Press Biscoff cookies gently into the surface of the yogurt mixture, submerging them as best you can. If they stick up some it’s fine.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight). As it chills, the cookies will soften and absorb moisture, creating a thick, cheesecake-like texture.
  • Enjoy cold straight from the fridge, or add extra toppings just before serving if desired. This Protein Cheesecake for One is best enjoyed within 24–48 hours when stored covered in the refrigerator.
