I used to be a Diet Coke addict. It was ALWAYS my drink of choice at restaurants, with my lunch, or even for a little pick-me-up in the afternoons. In January, I went on My Whole30 Journey, which translated to me drinking water and only water for 30 days. After the cycle was over, I had kicked my Diet Coke addiction and I didn’t have any desire to go back. I realized that all those Diet Cokes had made me less likely to drink all the water my body needed for proper hydration. Once I figured out that I felt better living soda free, I stuck with it. Every now and again, though, I do in fact venture out of the H2O only zone. Because I gotta live.
