These 3 ingredient Homemade Larabars are so easy to make and a healthy snack your whole family will enjoy!

If you like having healthy snacks on hand at all times, these are the easiest fruit and nut bars out there! Like I said, you only need 3 ingredients and about 5 mins to prepare these! I made mine in the blender, but a food processor would work great as well. I have always loved Larabars, but I have to be honest when I say that homemade Larabars are even better! Why have I not been making these all along!?

Why do they need to be refrigerated? I’d love to take these backpacking!
I’m sure they would be fine a day or two. I refrigerate them because the package of dates says to refrigerate after opening. I know they last me well over 4 weeks in the fridge but I’m not sure about outside the fridge.
These are amazing! My kids chowed them. Great alternative to processed bars as we head out the door. Had to make another batch 2 days later!
I used almonds and added a little homemade vanilla extract as well. I made mine in to little snack balls and they turned out great. Will be using this recipe a lot. It only took me about 15 minutes start to finish!!! ?
Have you ever made these with raw mixed nuts? I think my jar has cashews, walnuts, pistachios, almonds and hazelnuts.
I haven’t but a lot of larabars are made with different nuts so they might be good. Let me know if they are!
I bought raw cashews on accident….do you think that is going to make a difference?
Raw should work just fine! I would add just a little bit of sea salt but not a must. 🙂
How many bars does this make
Also do you know the calories in each bar?
Hi Bre,
This recipe easily makes 12 good sized bars at 193 calories each. Thanks for stopping by our site! Enjoy the bars!
Ohhh, I might have to try this – and soooon!!

I recommend adding a little sea salt to these. I swear, it makes them sweeter! I’m hungry now. Thanks 🙂
You are too funny! Great suggestion, and I’m so sorry for the delayed response. This comment was hanging out in my SPAM folder. How dare my blog think you are spammy, Jen!! P.S. I’m hungry now too.
