I love heading to the gym, but with three little ones, sometimes life gets in the way. Between preschool, Kindergarten and nap schedules (not to mention tantrums, meals, wrestling, and a work from home mommy), some days something’s gotta give.
When my kids are at their worst and we’ve all had enough of each other, we head outside for a stroller workout. When Bob Gear reached out to us with the 2016 Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller I was giddy! The boys love getting their smooth ride and cheering their mama on as the wind blows in their faces.
I can push this baby with just one arm, and I really don’t think there is a better workout stroller on the market. To make things even better, the 2016 Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller comes with 2 resistance bands. Bob Gear has also teamed up with Fit4Mom to help fit mamas everywhere. With your 2016 Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller purchase comes a free week to stroller strides! I love Bob Gear’s commitment to helping moms make fitness PRACTICAL!
This week’s Stroller Mama Workout is just what you’ll need for those crazy days!

Weekly Workout:
5 Rounds
Equipment Needed:
- Keep track of your time using a watch or a Timer. (We frequently use the MYWOD app and recommend it to our readers. You can keep track of your workouts, they’ve got How To videos, and of course the app has great timers.)
- 2016 Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller
- Resistance Bands
Modification Options:
- Be sure to modify this at home workout to your ability level. If you are a beginner you can cut the workout in half. Run/walk 200 meters and do 10 repetitions per movement.
At the start of the timer begin your 400 meter run. Then complete 20 curls with the resistance bands. Next do 20 lunges (be sure your knee touches the ground). Finish the round with 20 tricep extensions using your resistance band. Repeat until you’ve completed all 5 rounds.
