If you’re part of our 1:1 coaching program, your Google Tracker is one of the most important tools you’ll use—and we want to make sure it’s as easy and accessible as possible.
Most of our clients already log their food using MyFitnessPal or The Macros First App, and those apps are fantastic for tracking food intake and staying within your macro ranges. The Google Tracker serves a different (but equally important) purpose.
Think of it as your daily communication and accountability tool with your coach.
Why the Google Tracker Is So Important
While food logging apps show us what you’re eating, the Google Tracker helps us understand how your body is responding.
Inside your tracker, we’re able to see:
- Daily macros (from your logging apps)
- Fiber intake
- Water intake
- Daily step count
- Vegetable intake
- Sleep duration and quality
- Workouts completed
- Biofeedback like hunger levels, energy, and mental capacity
- A notes section for anything else that matters:
- Cycle tracking
- Travel or schedule changes
- Stress levels or mood
- Illness, soreness, or life events
All of this data together gives your coach the full picture—not just numbers on a screen. This allows us to:
- Make smarter macro adjustments
- Identify patterns (fatigue, hunger, poor recovery, plateaus)
- Support hormone health and recovery
- Personalize your plan instead of guessing
The more consistently you use your tracker, the better we can coach you.

Why Adding the Tracker to Your Home Screen Helps
When your tracker lives on your home screen:
- You’re more likely to check in daily
- Logging feels quick and routine (not something you “forget”)
- Accountability becomes automatic
- Communication with your coach improves dramatically
This small setup step makes a huge difference in consistency.

Step 3: Open the Shortcuts App
Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
Tap the “+” in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.
Step 4: Add an “Open URL” Action
- Tap Add Action
- Search for Open URL
- Paste the Google Sheet URL into the URL field
Step 5: Name & Customize (Optional but Helpful)
- Tap the shortcut name at the top to rename it (for example: “SFM Daily Tracker” or “My Macro Tracker”).
Step 6: Add to Home Screen
- In the shortcut editor, tap the Share / Options button
- Select Add to Home Screen
- Optionally, customize the icon by selecting Choose Photo and uploading a screenshot of your tracker for a more personalized home screen icon.

Final Notes
This tracker is not about perfection—it’s about patterns, communication, and support.
The more consistently you use it, the more insight your coach has to help you:
- Feel better
- Perform better
- Fuel smarter
- And move toward your goals with confidence
