Meet Tiffany, a mom of four from Wisconsin who decided it was finally time to put her health first. Just four months postpartum with her youngest, she was exhausted, inflamed, and uncomfortable in her own skin. Since joining Stay Fit Mom and working with Coach Chelsea, she’s lost 28 pounds and over 20 inches—but her story is about so much more than numbers. From rediscovering her love for fitness to dramatically improving her health markers, energy, and confidence, Tiffany is proof that sustainable change is possible, even in the busiest seasons of motherhood.
Tell us a little bit about your story. Work? family?
Tiffany: My husband and I live in Wisconsin and have four daughters (ages 9, 6, 3, 17 months). I work as a physical therapist a few days per month but left my full-time job in 2020 and am primarily a stay-at-home mom to my amazing girls. My hobbies are gardening and baking. My husband and I have a large garden and grow a lot of our own fruits and vegetables. I love baking sourdough bread and other treats for family and friends.

How did you find Stay Fit Mom and what made you decide to take the leap?
Tiffany: I found out about Stay Fit Mom through an online mom’s group. I was 4 months
postpartum with my youngest daughter. I was the heaviest I had ever been. I felt tired,
inflamed, sluggish, and was miserable in my own body. I decided to prioritize my self
and my health and haven’t looked back!

Your transformation is incredible! Tell us how much weight/inches you’ve lost.
Tiffany: I have lost 28 pounds and over 20 inches, including 5 inches in my waist!
How are you able to fit in Macro counting with your lifestyle? Have you had to
make any major changes?
Tiffany: Macro counting is a great fit for my lifestyle. I love to cook so being in control of
ingredients and portions for macro counting is so helpful. I try to sit down and plan out
my macro day the night before or first thing in the morning. My priority is enjoying dinner
with my family so I always add my dinner in first and then will add my other meals, while
usually leaving a buffer for snacks or adjusted portions. I love that I can still eat the
same foods as my family and that I can enjoy a special dessert or eating out with the
proper planning. Prior to Stay Fit Mom I ate healthy foods with limited fast food or junk
food but shifting to learning to eat the right amounts of these healthy foods has been
key.

How has learning to macro count shifted your thinking about “dieting?
Tiffany: My experience with dieting is that it always felt so restrictive and non-sustainable. I have tried many diets where I was hungry all the time with no energy to work out or be active. I’ve also tried plenty of diets where I ate completely different foods than the rest of my family which felt very isolating. Macro counting can feel overwhelming at first but once you become familiar with it, it is truly an incredible tool. I can typically plan my macros for the day within a couple of minutes which feels sustainable for the long term!
Besides shedding pounds and inches, what are some Non-Scale Victories that you’ve
experienced?
Tiffany: The greatest Non-Scale Victory has been the dramatic improvement in my health. My triglycerides and many other blood levels have improved significantly. My sleep has improved, I have more energy to keep up with my girls, and I am more resilient to stress. I have also fell in love with exercise and fitness again. I do a mix of strength training, Pilates, and yoga 4-5 days per week. I am physically stronger but the benefits on my mental health have also been great. I turn 40 in a few weeks, and I feel incredible! I am so excited to start this next decade of my life with a better handle on my physical and mental health.
What’s your most used, favorite SFM recipe?
Tiffany: My favorite SFM recipe is definitely the Animal Style Burger Bowls! I prep this regularly for lunches. It is so easy and I often add additional vegetables I have on hand to make it even more filling.

Tell us about your experience working with Coach Chelsea specifically.
Tiffany: Coach Chelsea has been my biggest cheerleader! She is the reason I have stuck with SFM for so long. She is positive, encouraging, and gives great advice. She reminds me
to give myself grace when I am too hard on myself. When I started SFM I was 4 months postpartum and still breastfeeding my daughter. Chelsea was so incredibly supportive of my breastfeeding journey and ensuring that my macros and weight loss did not negatively impact my milk supply. Chelsea has also been instrumental in changing my relationship with the scale. She’s advised me to take scale breaks on various occasions and has really helped me to focus on all the wonderful non scale victories happening. Chelsea is truly a light to others, and I am so thankful our paths have crossed!
I am so thankful for finding SFM, Coach Chelsea and the wonderful online community.
My advice to anyone who is new to this journey or struggling would be to find multiple
ways besides the scale to measure progress. Take the pictures each week, focus on
how you’re sleeping, your energy levels, and most importantly on how you feel!
