INGREDIENTS
- Lean ground beef (96/4)
- Blue cheese crumbles
- Bacon
- Worcestershire sauce
- Salt
- Pepper
- Brioche buns
- Arugula
- Pear
- Balsamic glaze
Substitutions
Ground beef: Swap with ground turkey or chicken to reduce fat content.
Blue cheese: Not a fan? Try goat cheese, feta, or sharp cheddar.
Bacon: Use turkey bacon or skip it for a lower-fat version.
Buns: Use a sandwich thin, whole wheat bun, or lettuce wrap for fewer carbs.
Pear: Apple slices also pair beautifully with blue cheese and bacon.
Recipe Tip
When mixing the ground beef with the cheese, bacon, and seasonings, mix gently just until combined. Overmixing can lead to tough, dense burgers. Light hands = juicy patties!

Why Pear + Blue Cheese Works
This sweet and savory combo is a flavor bomb. The juicy sweetness of pear balances the sharp tang of blue cheese and salty bacon—perfectly complemented by peppery arugula and a hint of balsamic glaze.
Topping Ideas (Optional & Not Included in Macros)
- Caramelized onions
- Dijon mustard or garlic aioli
- Sliced avocado
- Pickled red onions
- Tomato or cucumber for added crunch

I loved this burger and so did my boyfriend! Super savory, delicious, and elevated, but simple. Will definitely be making it again 🙂
So delicious. My husband and I loved it. Even the picker teenagers like it a lot and said it was the best burger they ever had. Super simple recipe to make and good for low time and low effort.
Oh my goodness I love this. I’m glad it was a hit for the whole family. Thanks for coming back to share.
