Sourdough Pizza Toast

Sourdough pizza toast features a hearty slice of sourdough layered with tangy pizza sauce, creamy cottage cheese, juicy cherry tomatoes, savory turkey pepperoni, a sprinkle of oregano, melted parmesan, and a drizzle of hot honey for a sweet and spicy finish.

Ingredients 

  • 65 g slice of sour dough
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 75 g low fat cottage cheese, about 1/3 cup
  • sprinkle of oregano
  • 6-8 cherry tomatoes
  • 7 turkey pepperonis
  • 8 g parmesan cheese
  • 7 g hot honey

Instructions 

  • Toast sourdough to your liking.
  • Spread on the pizza sauce and cottage cheese. Sprinkle the oregano on top.
  • Top with the cherry tomatoes, pepperonis, and cheese.
  • Air Fry at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
  • Drizzle on the hot honey and enjoy!

    Quick and easy lunch that was a good way to use up some sourdough that was a little past its prime. I wasn’t sure about adding the hot honey, but I loved what it added to the recipe!
