This Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken comes from our Ninja Insider archives. It’s such an easy weeknight dinner if you’re looking for a new idea. Take a look at a few reviews from some of our Macro Ninjas who made it this past year:
- “This was amazing. Love love loved it!”
- “I made this today. SO GOOD, and so easy! I did green beans on the side and sautéed them in some extra sauce. We did rice on the side as well.”
- “We made this for dinner tonight. I told myself that I need to try at least two new recipes a week. This was amazing and even the hubby approved and asked for it to be added to the rotation.”
- “Made this tonight! So good!”
- “I ate this all week long. It is delicious!”

Where do you buy boneless, skinless chicken thighs?
I find boneless, skinless chicken thighs at Costco, Sam’s Club, Kroger, & Walmart near me.

What are the macros if I use chicken breast instead of chicken thighs?
You could recreate the whole recipe in your macro tracking app, but that would be no fun. All you need to do is deduct 2 grams of fat per serving you have. Easy!

What if you want to bbq or air fry the chicken instead?
While I LOVE air fried chicken thighs, I don’t recommend changing the cook method on this one. Mostly because you’ll make a big mess of your air fryer or bbq if you do. Plus you’re going to want all the yummy sauce the chicken bakes in for drizzling on your rice or veggies. The macros for the extra sauce are in MyFitnessPal and in the notes below.

I hope you love this recipe as much as I do. Tag me on Instagram if you make it! I absolutely love seeing you guys making my recipes and sharing, it means a lot.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4-5 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 cup honey
- 4 tablespoons dijon mustard (I used the garlic whole grain flavor)
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in a casserole dish and season with some salt and pepper on both sides.
- Melt the butter in a small saute pan. Add the garlic and cook for only 30 seconds. Add the honey, Dijon mustard and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well to blend and simmer over medium heat for one or two minutes. The sauce will begin to reduce.
- Pour the hot glaze evenly over the chicken.
- Bake in the oven at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving or rice and or vegetables.

Notes
The macros for this chicken do not include any glaze, just the small amount that is absorbed by the chicken when cooking. When weighing your serving out, let the excess glaze drop off your piece before putting it on your plate. If you want to drizzle additional glaze on your chicken, rice and veggies, you can add the marinade per tablespoon in MFP. See macros below.

Oh yay! I’m gad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for sharing.
I see fresh herbs in the picture(s) but not in the recipe – do you recommend adding them at the end? Thanks!
Hi Erin,
I just added some fresh rosemary at the end for the pictures. It’s not a necessary ingredient. If you want to include it, add it before cooking. Enjoy!
