5-Round Sweat Session: Dumbbells, Box Jumps & Core Crusher

If the thought of working out feels overwhelming, don’t worry—you’re not alone! But what if I told you that in just five rounds, you could build strength, boost your energy, and feel amazing? This workout is designed to be challenging, but totally doable. With a mix of dumbbell movements, core work, and a little cardio, you’ll get a full-body burn in a way that keeps things interesting. Plus, you get a built-in rest after each round! So grab some dumbbells, find a box or sturdy surface, and let’s take it one round at a time. You’ve got this! Workout Description

Start the timer and begin with 15 Dumbbell Thrusters (20 pounds). Next, move on to 15 Box Jumps, followed by 15 V-ups (see modifications below if needed). Then, complete 15 Dumbbell Push Presses (25 pounds). Once you’ve finished the full sequence, take a well-earned 1-minute rest before starting the next round. Repeat this cycle for a total of 5 rounds.

Modification Options

Beginner: Reduce the weight of the dumbbell thrusters from 20 pounds to 8 to 10 pounds. Instead of V-ups, complete alternating V-ups of Sit-ups. Reduce the weight of the Dumbbell Push Press to 10 to 15 pounds.

Advanced: Increase the weight of the dumbbell thrusters from 20 pounds to 30 pounds. Increase the weight of the Dumbbell Push press to 35 pounds.
