Today I’m shaking things up with your traditional ground beef recipe with this Taco Seasoned Ground Chicken recipe. This meat is full of flavor and super macro friendly! It even has homemade taco seasoning, which I love! This is such a great recipe to have on hand because it’s quite versatile and you can use it in lots of different meal ideas.

- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Chili powder
- Cumin
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt

Ground Chicken
Of course, you can buy ground chicken at the store, but making your own is fairly simple. I just use chicken breast and my food processor to make it at home!

Storing & Freezing Instructions
You can store any leftover Taco Seasoned Ground Chicken by putting it in an airtight container and storing it in the fridge for up to 5 days
Reheating Instructions
When you’re ready go reheat your ground chicken, you can pop it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or if you prefer, add it back to a small pan with a tablespoon of water and reheat it over medium heat.

Taco Seasoned Ground Chicken
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in a food processor and blend. You may need to do 1 breast at a time, depending on the size of your food processor.
- Warm up a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the blended chicken and cook until no longer pink. Add all the seasonings and mix well.
