What does au gratin mean?

It simply means sprinkled with breadcrumbs or grated cheese, or both, and browned.

This creamy, cheesy dish is so good. I highly recommend using Swiss cheese off the block, or, a great substitute I think would work well for this one is, “Parmigiano-Reggiano.”

I hope you love this recipe as much as I do. Tag me on Instagram if you make it! I absolutely love seeing you guys making my recipes and sharing, it means a lot.

  1. Sounds great, but there must be some sat fat in the recipe , as it’s got light cream cheese plus swiss cheese in..? Just curious ….. as the nutrition facts table states zero for Sat fat, not sure how this could be ….

    1. Hi Sophia, I’m not sure where you’re seeing 0g fat? The nutrition label on the recipe card shows 6.1g fat per serving, which is correct. I don’t ever specify saturated, mono, poly, etc.
