3poundsbonelessskinless thighs (i usually use frozen)
1tspkosher salt
1tspsmoked paprika
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tspblack pepper
1medium yellow onionthinly sliced
2teaspoonsminced garlic
15ozcan tomato sauce
1/3cupbalsamic vinegar
1tablespoonbrown sugarpacked
1tablespoonliquid smoke
Instructions
Add chicken thighs to your slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Top with onion slices and garlic.
In a mixing bowl, add tomato sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and liquid smoke and stir to combine. Pour over chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5-7 hours, or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
Remove chicken to smaller mixing bowl or kitchen aid and shred. Once shredded add back in 1 cups of the sauce/juices and toss well. Serve on bread, a roll, or by itself.
