No one was born with a six pack.  Everyone who has a nice physique started somewhere, most likely very modestly.  I try to keep this in mind as I sit here 4 weeks postpartum with 40+ pounds to lose.  This is MY beginning.  No I don’t need to have a six pack or be supermodel skinny, but I want to be confident again and healthy.  Here is how I see it- The time is going to pass anyway, so why not take advantage and picture myself a little more fit, with more energy, and a smile on my face 3 months from now.  All it takes is a change of heart, determination for self-improvement, and a little will power.  Whatever your beginning is, lets start now and not look back!  This week’s Beginners Workout is for you!  If you’re like me and you want to exercise without any worries of leaking postpartum, try using the new Depend® Silhouette® Active Fit*.

Workout Demo Video:

I know we’ve shared my first Crossfit workout experience before, but I must share it again.  It was Fantasy Football season  and Tracy and Chris were hosting the yearly Fantasy draft party.  Tracy mentioned to me that they were going to do a neighborhood Crossfit workout after the draft if we were interested.  My husband and I decided we’d give it a shot.  I was 7 months postpartum with my second child at that time and hadn’t yet jumped into a serious exercise and diet routine.  Needles to say, the workout started with a 1 mile run for time.  Thank my lucky stars it was dark outside and I was wearing black bottoms because I peed all over myself during that mile.  I was pushing myself so hard that I basically lost control.   I was horrified at the time because I didn’t know how common of a problem this really was.  Ask any Crossfit mom today and they will tell you that peeing while running, doing box jumps, or double unders is nothing to be ashamed of.   With the new Depend® Silhouette® Active Fit* you can discreetly wear protection without any worries.  I like the low rise design and neutral colors they come in.  The best part is you can’t even tell when I’m wearing them! I found them on Walmart.com.I love that all these workouts from SFM are doable and take less than an hour.

Easily order your Depend® Silhouette® Active Fit* on Walmart.com and have it delivered right to your door.  No need to be embarrassed about buying this product because more than 65 million American’s experience bladder leakage.Depend
